EMC VisualSRM is an easy to use storage resource management solution for mid-tier enterprises with heterogeneous storage environments. Through an intuitive dashboard and user interface, storage administrators can gain a clear view of all the resources, including systems, applications and product configurations; track and report on activities, utilization, and consumption; and take automated action. VisualSRM is architected to provide centralized and automated storage resource management for a wide range of environments including DAS, NAS and SAN. Platforms supported include Windows NT, 2000, 2003, XP, NetWare, HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, and Linux; application support includes Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and MSCS.
VisualSRM also provides comprehensive file-level reporting that includes pre-defined and custom reports, trending, and has powerful intelligence with the ability to take - Action Copy, Move, Stage, Delete, Compress, and Execute Scripts.
VisualSRM also integrates with other leading storage management applications from backup and framework vendors such as IBM, VERITAS, HP, CA, and BMC.
