Automated File System Archiving and Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM)

DiskXtender for Windows is a leading automated file system archiving product that delivers a policy-based, file system centric solution for Windows environments. By relying on DiskXtender for Windows to map the value of data with disk, tape, or optical resources, organizations can reduce storage overhead costs, satisfy compliance needs, and optimize service level fulfillment. File system archiving can greatly reduce backup and restore windows by removing inactive or infrequently accessed data from primary storage to archival storage.
