CommVault is een onafhankelijk leverancier van 'unified Data Management' oplossingen, waar onder Backup & Restore, archivering, uitwijk en storage resource management software met een brede ondersteuning van Operating Systemen en applicaties.
De centrale CommServe biedt één management (Common User Interface) en index en database omgeving (Common Technology Engine) voor alle CommVault producten.
